Senior Brand Manager - TRIP
Location: Notting Hill, London — four days in the office and one from home
Reporting to: Head of Brand
ABOUT TRIP:
TRIP’s mission is to create calm in the everyday chaos for our community, offering next-generation wellness products to power their lifestyle and nurture mental wellbeing.
Co-founders, husband-and-wife team Olivia and Daniel, discovered plant-based wellness after a transformative personal experience and launched TRIP in 2019 to bring delicious, high-quality functional drinks and supplements to millions of people globally.
Now the world’s #1 Calming Beverage Brand, TRIP’s award-winning drinks and wellness products are crafted with botanicals and adaptogens to help people relax, unwind and find balance. Since launch, TRIP has rapidly expanded from the UK across Europe and North America, generating over $100 million in sales. Our products are available in leading supermarkets, natural retailers and online.
Our vision is to become the global leader in calming drinks and supplements — synonymous with calm in the same way Red Bull is with energy. We move fast, think big and are committed to becoming the defining brand for a generation who drinks less but prioritises mental wellbeing more than ever.
There has never been a better time to join our team and be part of the movement.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Senior Brand Manager to help shape the next chapter of TRIP's growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership across three critical areas of our business: Brand Marketing, Product Innovation and Packaging. You'll play a key role in bringing our brand to life, launching exciting new products and ensuring TRIP shows up consistently and brilliantly wherever consumers discover us.
Working closely with our Brand, Digital, Sales, Social, Partnerships and Product teams, you'll turn consumer insights and commercial opportunities into impactful campaigns, compelling products and standout packaging.
We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on, can-do attitude. Someone who's as comfortable developing a brand campaign as they are managing a product launch, challenging a creative brief or getting into the detail to make things happen.
You'll be joining an ambitious, fast-growing business where you'll have genuine ownership, creative freedom and the opportunity to make a visible impact on a globally recognised brand.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Brand Strategy & Campaigns
Lead integrated brand campaigns: Take ownership as the Brand lead for alternating 360° brand and new product development (NPD) campaigns, working collaboratively with our Digital, Sales, Social and Partnerships teams to deliver impactful activations.
Bring our brand strategy to life: Develop clear, inspiring and actionable campaign briefs that translate our wider brand strategy into a consistent direction for creative execution across teams and channels.
Drive campaign effectiveness: Monitor campaign performance across channels, bringing together insights and results to evaluate impact, identify opportunities and make informed recommendations for future brand investment.
Champion brand consistency: Act as a guardian of TRIP's brand identity, ensuring our visual identity, tone of voice and brand guidelines are consistently reflected across every consumer and product touchpoint.
Evolve our brand expression: Lead bi-annual reviews of brand execution across product touchpoints, identifying opportunities to strengthen consistency, relevance and impact as TRIP continues to grow.
Support commercial growth: Develop compelling brand and product sell-in materials that help our Sales teams communicate the TRIP proposition, build excitement with retail partners and champion our product range.
Product Innovation & Portfolio Development
Shape the future of our portfolio: Support the development of TRIP's product range architecture and innovation roadmap, balancing exciting new opportunities with the performance and growth of our existing core range.
Lead the brand side of innovation: Partner closely with our Product team to shape and deliver the NPD pipeline, using consumer insights, market trends and commercial opportunities to inform product concepts, focus areas and flavour development.
Turn ideas into products: Develop detailed, insight-led product briefs covering flavour profiles, functional benefits, product formats, pricing and target consumers, ensuring innovation is aligned with our brand positioning and commercial objectives.
Own the journey to launch: Manage NPD timelines, cross-functional milestones and implementation plans, keeping teams aligned and ensuring new products are delivered successfully and on schedule.
Optimise portfolio performance: Track and analyse product performance to support informed decisions around future innovation, product optimisation, portfolio priorities and potential delistings.
Packaging & Brand Execution
Lead packaging development: Oversee the evolution of TRIP's packaging across our drinks and supplements portfolio, including cans, multipacks and point-of-sale materials, managing projects from initial concept and creative brief through to final delivery on shelf.
Manage the creative and artwork process: Project manage packaging artwork workflows and coordinate the packaging team, ensuring all designs are delivered accurately, on time and in line with TRIP's brand guidelines.
Ensure regulatory compliance: Work closely with Compliance and relevant internal teams to ensure all packaging meets applicable UK, US and EU regulatory requirements, including product claims, ingredient declarations and nutritional information.
Keep launches on track: Own packaging-related critical paths, coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners to manage deadlines, resolve challenges and ensure launches land on time and within budget.
Balance creativity with execution: Ensure packaging is visually distinctive, commercially effective and practical to deliver, maintaining the quality and consistency consumers expect from TRIP.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Desired Experience & Skills
Strong brand management experience: Ideally 5+ years' experience in brand marketing, with experience operating at Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager level within an FMCG or consumer goods environment.
Relevant category experience: A background in food, beverages, functional drinks, wellness, beauty or other fast-moving consumer brands would be particularly valuable.
End-to-end campaign management: Proven experience developing and delivering integrated brand campaigns, from initial strategy and briefing through to execution, measurement and post-campaign evaluation.
Product innovation experience: Hands-on involvement in NPD, with a good understanding of consumer insights, product development, innovation pipelines and go-to-market planning.
Packaging development knowledge: Experience managing packaging projects, creative and artwork approval processes, and working with design, product, production and compliance teams.
Commercial awareness: An ability to connect brand-building activity with business performance, using consumer insights, market data and campaign results to inform recommendations and investment decisions.
Strong project management: Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to keep complex projects moving.
Cross-functional collaboration: Confidence working across Brand, Creative, Product, Commercial, Digital and external partners, bringing different teams together to achieve shared objectives.
Brand storytelling and creative judgement: A strong understanding of what makes a brand distinctive, with the ability to develop compelling briefs, challenge creative thinking constructively and maintain a consistent brand identity.
Data-driven decision making: Comfortable interpreting sales performance, consumer research and campaign data to identify opportunities and make clear, actionable recommendations.
International exposure: Experience working across multiple markets, particularly the UK, US or Europe, would be beneficial, including an understanding of how brand and packaging requirements can differ by market.
A genuine interest in our category: An interest in consumer trends, wellbeing, functional beverages and the evolving drinks landscape, with curiosity about what consumers want next.
