THE ROLE
We’re looking for a performance-obsessed Meta Creative Strategist to architect, test and scale high-converting paid social creative, with Meta (Facebook & Instagram) as your core playground. You’ll turn data into decisions: diagnosing performance signals, crafting hypotheses, briefing edits, and engineering creative frameworks that scale profitably across audiences and markets. This is not an organic content role; it’s paid performance creative at the sharp end. Where psychology, storytelling and numbers meet.
You’ll partner closely with our Performance team to align creative with audience signals, platform shifts and revenue targets, while using smart tooling (including AI where helpful) to accelerate iteration and insight generation.
Key responsibilities include:
Own Meta creative strategy end-to-end: from insight and hypotheses to briefs, edits, launch and account scaling.
Turn data into action: read beyond surface metrics to identify patterns, bottlenecks and opportunities (e.g., thumb-stop rates, hook hold, CPC breakout, CPA by concept, MER contribution) and translate into clear next steps.
Engineer scalable frameworks: develop repeatable ad concepts (hooks, angles, formats, end-cards) that can be versioned by product, persona and market and continue to win after week one.
Brief and QA creative: write razor-sharp briefs for editors/designers, specify shot lists, overlays, VO, UGC beats, and ensure assets ship on-brand, on-spec, and ready for testing.
Run structured testing: set clear test matrices (hooks × formats × angles), define success criteria, and prioritise learnings into the next sprint.
Leverage tools (including AI) smartly: to speed up iteration, surface insights faster and improve decision-making without losing the human nuance that drives connection.
Spot platform and cultural shifts: track Meta creative trends, competitor moves and consumer psychology to keep TRIP’s paid creative ahead of the curve.
Communicate clearly: package findings into crisp, actionable narratives for growth, founders and cross-functional partners.
ABOUT YOU
3+ years in performance-focused paid social creative strategy for high-growth DTC brands or agencies, with deep Meta expertise.
A diagnostic mindset: you don’t just report numbers, you explain why and what to do next.
Proven track record building and scaling winning concepts across Meta ad formats (UGC, testimonials, founder POV, problem/solution, comparisons, statics, motion, carousels).
Fluency in performance metrics (CTR, CVR, CPA/ROAS/MER, hook/hold, scroll-stop) and how creative levers influence them.
Skilled at briefing editors/designers and giving decisive, constructive feedback at speed.
Comfortable using AI-assisted workflows for ideation, scripting, cut-downs, and analysis (with strong human editorial judgement).
Highly organised, proactive and collaborative; able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
