UK National Account Executive – Grocery
ABOUT TRIP
TRIP’s mission is to create calm in the everyday chaos for our community, offering next-generation wellness products to power their lifestyle and nurture mental wellbeing.
Co-founders, husband and wife team Olivia and Daniel discovered plant-based wellness after a transformative personal experience and decided to launch TRIP in 2019 to bring the most delicious, highest quality functional drinks and supplements to millions of people globally.
Now the world’s #1 Calming Beverage Brand, TRIP’s award-winning drinks and wellness products are crafted with botanicals and adaptogens to help people relax, unwind and find balance. Since launch, TRIP has rapidly expanded from the UK to across Europe and North America, generating over $100 million in sales. TRIP products are now available in leading supermarkets, natural retailers and online.
Our vision is to become the global leader in calming drinks and supplements. Synonymous with calm in the same way Red Bull is with energy. We move fast, think big and are committed to becoming the defining brand for a generation who drinks less but prioritises mental wellbeing more than ever. There has never been a better time to join our incredible team and be part of the movement!
The Role
We're looking for a National Account Executive to join our Grocery team, supporting our Senior National Account Managers across TRIP's biggest retail partnerships, including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Waitrose
You'll be joining a team of hard workers who pitch in for each other and know a lot – which is great news, because you'll be learning from all of them. This is a versatile role; we're after a real team player who's adaptable, curious and keen to get stuck in. As you grow, so will the role – with genuine opportunity to step into a National Account Manager position and bigger accounts of your own

Data & Insight
• Help build reporting, account reviews and sell-in materials for buyer meetings, range reviews and JBPs
• Pull and analyse sales and EPOS data to track performance, spot opportunities and flag risks for total Grocery accounts
• Monitor competitor activity in the market, spotting risks and opportunities across the range for total Grocery accounts
Working Cross-Functionally
• Coordinate with supply chain, marketing and finance to keep account actions moving
• Support forecasting alongside our SNAMs, connecting demand with what’s happening in store
• Supporting the wider sales team with samplings where appropriate
Learning & Development
• Attend customer meetings and internal strategy sessions, building your commercial toolkit from day one
• Grow your remit over time, taking on more ownership as you develop - with the ambition of stepping into a National Account Manager role with ownership of bigger accounts
Growing Into Account Ownership
• Take ownership of smaller accounts, your own projects, and elements of bigger accounts - managing customer relationships, ranging and promotional plans end to end
• Identify growth opportunities within your accounts and build the plans to land them
About You
• Commercial Experience: 1–2 years’ experience in a commercial role within FMCG or a related industry. Experience in or with the UK grocery sector – supplier, retailer or agency side – is preferred
• Detail Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail, taking pride in getting the basics right every time
• Analytical: Comfortable working in Excel and interpreting sales data to tell a clear story
• Strong Communicator: Clear and confident, both in writing and in person, with a natural ability to build relationships
• Tenacious & Proactive: A fast learner who takes ownership and asks great questions
• Team Player: Keen to get stuck in wherever needed – organised, adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
